Dear Lions and Lionesses,

Happy new year to you! We have some sad news to share as there have been deaths our communities recently. Please stay strong as these are difficult times.

If you have not heard, our dear financial secretary lost her husband Dr. Okechi Nwagbara recently. This is a blow for our leadership team and UNN-USA. Please keep Ijeoma and her family in prayers. Mrs. Christie Ibe also lost her mom during the holiday. So due to these bereavements, the executive committee has decided to suspend today's leadership meetings and reflect on our friends/family members who passed recently.

We will resume meeting in February and I will let you know if I learn more. Please reach out  if you have any questions/concerns.
