ISEC2024: The International Statistical Ecology Conference
15th – 19th July 2024

Keynote Speaker
We are excited to announce that we have confirmed a fantastic collection of keynote speakers for the conference this year (details on the website):
- Dr. Marie Auger-Méthé (University of British Columbia, Canada)
- Prof. John Fieberg (University of Minnesota, USA)
- Prof. Rachel McCrea (Lancaster University, UK)
- Dr. Matthew Schofield (University of Otago, NZ)
- Dr. Elise Zipkin (Michigan State University, USA)
Registration and accommodation
- Registration will open in the next 2 weeks with a registration deadline of 15th June. There will be a ‘standard delegate rate’ and a (reduced) ‘student delegate rate’ and
the costs will be in line with previous rates. There will be no ‘early bird’ rate. We have arranged a block booking for on-site university accommodation. These rooms will be held until the end of April, which is after decisions will be announced about abstracts
(see below). This accommodation is, of course, optional.
Abstract submission
- Abstract submission will open in the next 2 weeks and will close on Friday 22nd of March. Abstract will be submitted vias the website (link to appear soon). Decisions about
abstracts will be communicated by early April. There will be standard talks and posters.
Workshops
- We are now welcoming proposals for workshops! If you are interested in proposing a workshop, please send the following information to Luca Borger (l.borger [at] swansea.ac.uk) and
Chris Sutherland (css6 [at] st-andrews.ac.uk):
- Title
- Short workshop description (<300 word)
- Intended audience
- Whether you are proposing a ½ day or a full day workshop
- We will charge a small fee for workshops which will be used to cover the registration of workshop instructors and refreshments.
