Hi,

I am running occuComm models in R to study about community ecology in tropical forest in India. I have created a few hypotheses and have divided different species into different communities based on their size, diet, and tolerance to human.

Let's say I have one hypothesis under which there is a community made up of tiger, leopard, and dhole.

Now I run my models and have a most-supported model.

Is there a way to predict the impact of the covariates used in this model on the community rather than separately for each species in the community?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Sprih

Hi Sprih,

If you use the predict function on the model with the argument re.form = NA, that will give you predictions for the community-level average effect.
