Greetings!
We would like to extend an invitation to the 2nd annual Las Vegas Humanitarian Festival. This charity music and art festival aims to bring awareness, raise funds, and help network local Non Profit Organizations, Community Outreach Programs, and Student Organizations. This two day festival will be held on Friday, April 27th and Saturday April 28th at the UNLV intramural fields and will feature many local musicians, artists, and entertainers. There will be food and beverage vendors as well as activities and raffles to make it an enjoyable outing for all involved. This event is hosted by the NPO, Humanitarian Funds Foundation.
What we can do for you: There are many ways in which
your group or organization may benefit from participating in this event.
1. You
will gain support and build relationships with like minded individuals
and other organizations with similar interests.
2. We
will donate a booth space in which you may set up a table to organize attractions,
set up games, or hand out literature.
3. We
will also donate a spot in our program guide with your organizations goal,
mission statement and other relevant information that will be handed out
at the event entrance.
4. Qualifying
organizations may be eligible to enter in fundraising activities that we
will sponsor during the event.
5. We
also offer Sponsorship/Partnership Contracts to qualifying groups that
wish to participate in the financial aspects of the festival.
What you need to do: Just fill out an application! The space is donated to you for free. If you need tables and chairs their may be a rental fee (charged by UNLV), but that is all that is required on our end. It is also a good idea to include a logo for the program guide and the mission statement, website, or other information that is relevant. It is a good idea to have extra volunteers to run your booth in case of last minute issues. If you wish to sell trinkets or other services there may be special requirements that need to be met first, and they will be allowed on a first come first served basis to prevent redundancies.
Humanitarian Funds Foundation is also always looking for extra help and volunteers, especially for large events such as this. If your group wishes not to participate, but individuals would like to be involved they may contact us and request a Volunteer Application.
Also, feel free to share this event with other groups or individuals that may be interested. Remember, the bigger it is the better for all of us. Social networking sites, event sites, web, email, and even text are avenues that could make it even better and larger for more exposure to participating groups.
