Are you interested in learning what it means to be a global
leader? Do you want to understand different cultural perceptions on leadership
and gain self-awareness of your own leadership style? Or are you questioning
how to ethically lead in an ever-growing global society? Then join the
Office of Civic Engagement and Diversity for their annual Global Leadership
Retreat running during the weekend of February 10 - 12, 2012.
The Global Leadership Retreat is a three-day, two-night
weekend experience where you are invited to explore their leadership
identity in a global context. Through dialogue with peers and interactive
workshops you will gain a deeper understanding of how to be effective leaders
in an ever-globalizing society.
Participants should come prepared to actively engage in
dialogue by sharing views, attitudes, beliefs, and experiences openly and
honestly. We strive to create a safe environment in which each of us is
free to express ourselves truthfully. This is possible only if all participants
understand and agree to uphold a safe and respectful environment.
