Hello Friends, Partners, and Supporters:

Please consider joining us for a exciting, fun day outdoors next week!

The Outside Las Vegas Foundation, the Agassi Foundation and the Springs Preserve will host a "Let's Move" event for local students at the Springs Preserve on Tuesday, May 1st. The day will be filled with entertainers, fun activities, a one-mail trail walk, and guest speakers. We are projecting about 300 students (from four local schools including the Rainbow Dreams Academy and the Agassi College Preparatory Academy) and 50-100 other guests (including headline entertainers and student performers). We need 30 volunteers to help with the event by keeping the kids motivated, enthusiastic, and on task.

Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf and local elected officials will be in attendance to highlight our amazing natural amenities and to get kids excited about exercise. I expect everyone will have a fun time outdoors with the attendees and participants.

Volunteers will need to arrive at 7am and stay until 1pm. I'm sorry, but we won't be able to allow late admittance or early departure. It will be easiest if every volunteer can stay for the entire event. We will be providing a t-shirt, snacks and coffee, sunscreen, and detailed instruction on the days event when we meet in the morning.
