Downtown Revitalization, June 8th, 2013  Thank you!!! Volunteers, Thank you so much for being part of our Downtown Revitalization! The day was a huge success and it was all thanks to the best volunteers! A few stats on our event   June 8th was the hottest day of the year and the hottest June 8th on record 210 volunteers and volunteer leaders came out to make a difference Had no one that required medical attention, even in the extreme heat Built 10 new picnic lunch tables for the students at Las Vegas Academy Painted 46 fire hydrants Cleaned 8 alleyways Had 900 combined volunteer hours If you enjoyed volunteering for this event, ask me about being a DT | LV Dynamo! The Dynamos are volunteer ambassadors that are passionate about their community and enthusiastic to help others in the Downtown Las Vegas area. We are looking for friendly, outgoing people to volunteer their time to help greet people, give directions, and provide assistance to both visitors and locals.   *We'll be having another event in the fall, so look for a Save the Date from us soon!*   United Way of Southern Nevada 5830 W.
