Better World Books Drive

Where: Student Union & Student Recreation and Wellness Center

When: May 1, 2013 - May 15, 2013

Time: All Day

* Its almost that time of the year again... Summer Break! As time nears to the end of the semester I know some of you are going to be trying to get rid of those hefty textbooks! Sell, Trade, or Trash theres endless possibilities with what you can do with your textbooks but why not donate them to a great cause. All books will be donated to Better World Books - an organization that promotes literacy around the world by donating unsellable books to areas of poverty! By recycling you will be helping save resources and energy along with spreading literacy around the world!

Division 28 West Relay For Life

Where: Spring Valley High School  3750 S Buffalo Dr  Las Vegas, NV 89147 

When: Friday, May 3, 2013 - Saturday, May 4, 2013

* Looking to help children pick out new shoes? Well this is a great opportunity to. Goodie Two Shoes is an organization that empowers children with the power of choice. This organization targets areas of poverty and visits the schools in that area to distribute shoes and sox.
