The first trailer for the upcoming Fathom Events movie theatre screening of Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's Titanic: The Musical is out. Watch it above. The musical, filmed on stage during a recent U.K. tour, will screen in movie theatres November 4 and 8.
The work, winner of the 1997 Tony Award for Best Musical, embarked on a new tour of the U.K. in March. Thom Southerland, who has directed several productions of the hit musical around the world in the past decade, directed the tour, which continued through July 29.
The tour launched 10 years after Southerland's production made its debut at Southwark Playhouse in London. Coincidentally, this will not be the only Titanic that viewers can witness this season; the musical will receive a limited run at New York City Center June 12-23, 2024.
The cast of the filmed Titanic featured Martin Allanson as J. Bruce Ismay, Valda Aviks as Ida Straus, Graham Bickley as Captain Edward Smith, Sam Brown as Frederick Fleet, James Darch as Edgar Beane, David Delve as Isidor Straus, Adam Filipe as Frederick Barrett, Emily George as Kate Murphy, Luke Harley as Andrew Latimer, Emma Harrold as Lady Caroline Neville, Alastair Hill as Harold Bride, Abi Hudson as Maid, Barnaby Hughes as Herbert Pitman/Henry Etches, Paul Kemble as Joseph Boxhall, Niamh Long as Kate Mullins, Matthew McDonald as Charles Clarke, Ian McLarnon as Thomas Andrews, Danny Michaels as Joseph Bell, Janet Mooney as Head Maid, Chris Nevin as Jim Farrell, Jack North as Charles Lightoller, Joseph Peacock as Bellboy/Wallace Hartley, Billy Roberts as William McMaster Murdoch, Bree Smith as Alice Beane, and Lucie-Mae Summer as Kate McGowan.
The production features set and costume design by David Woodhead, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Andrew Johnson, musical staging by Cressida Carr, musical supervision by Mark Aspinall, and new musical arrangements by Ian Weinberger.
Based on the tragedy that spawned thousands of heartbreaking true stories, comes this fake one. Jack is an unrealistically sexy peasant and Rose is a first-class suicidal pair of boobs. Together, their undying love made James Cameron filthy f***ing rich.

Huffpost said this Honest Trailer was a "helpful antidote" to anyone who knew that Titanic 3D was "just a gigantic money-maker with nothing new to offer" but was nonetheless "a little bit excited over the trailer." Collider said the video was "funny" and that it "hilariously makes some great points about the film itself" including the lengthy run-time of establishing shots and waving.
"I have a plan. I'm coming to you." Intromovies has unveiled an official US trailer for an intriguing Finnish indie film titled The Blind Man Who Did Not Want To See Titanic, which originally premiered at the 2021 Venice Film Festival last year. It's playing at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival this fall. Jaakko and Sirpa have never met face to face but used to talk on the phone every day. When he heard about her declining health, he decides to go meet her in another city, though soon she will learn that he is blind and paralyzed from the chest down. The film is shot from a blind man's perspective, starring Petri Poikolainen, a blind and wheelchair-bound actor in a gripping debut performance. Wow. The filmmaker's style is best described as good-willed yet unapologetic political satire of humanity. "He has never see the movie Titanic." Ha! Also starring Marjaana Maijala as Sirpa. This looks great! I missed this one at the festivals but it seems like a really sweet, honest, and fascinating film about the life of a blind man in Finland. Definitely worth a watch.
Eight months after the OceanGate submersible imploded, a new documentary is highlighting the harrowing search and knocking sounds rescuers heard at the time, which ultimately fostered hope of finding its five passengers alive.
"The symmetry between those knockings is very unusual," former Navy submarine Captain Ryan Ramsey said during ITN's "The Titan Sub Disaster: Minute by Minute" trailer. "It's rhythmic, it's like somebody is making that sound, and the fact that it is repeated is really unusual."
The documentary, which is set to air March 6 and 7 on Britain's Channel 5, chronicles the disappearance of the submersible in the North Atlantic Ocean, as well as the rescue mission and reflections from experts, according to ITN Productions. It will also examine exclusive audio from the Canadian Air Force, including the infamous banging sounds heard during the massive search.
Two days later, U.S. Coast Guard officials shared that the Canadian Air Force had directed efforts to a specific part of the ocean after it detected underwater banging noises. The optimistic update came just hours after officials revealed an estimated 40 hours of oxygen was left in the submersible.
"These men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world's oceans," OceanGate said in the June statement. "Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time. We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew."
Additional details including "platforms and a release window" will be announced at a later date. This title will follow on from Daemon X Machina, which was released on the Nintendo Switch back in 2019.

This is my first time hearing about a sequel. I didn't think anybody cared enough about the first one for them to make another, lol. I remember playing a few minutes of the demo and just finding it incredibly boring. I also remember Nintendo making the strange decision to open E3 2018 with this game, which really set the tone for how disappointing the rest of the presentation was going to be. Smash Ultimate was its saving grace, but without that, it probably would have been one of Nintendo's worst E3's ever. It arguably still kind of was.
First game was aight. Finished out the co-op missions, but found the storytelling so painfully dull. Which is too bad, because the game's use of color was mesmerizing.
Its true saving grace, though, was its peerless menu theme. Had to buy the whole OST because of it.
I remember playing the demo, which really didn't make me want to play the full game. I was curious to see if the sequel could be a bit more interesting. But I won't be finding this out with this kind of trailer XD
Played the original on a game trial, the co-op was an absolute blast. I didnt finish the story and I see the criticisms of it but from what I played I kind of liked how cheesy and over the top it was. I'm interested in this one, depending on the price
I haven't beaten the first Daemon X Machina since I was tired of all those random new characters every mission and awful voice acting (at least in English).
However I really loved the art style and the music.
The OST is a blast. I have the album added in my Apple Music - there are so many great tracks (great for driving to them) that I often want to return to the game.
This movie trailer (which can be viewed below) was created by YouTube user VJ4rawr2 and posted on Oct. 18, 2019. That version, as well as several other iterations floating around Facebook, included the word "Parody" in the title. It appears that some viewers may have missed this disclaimer, however, and viewed this trailer as if it showed genuine footage from an upcoming "Titanic" sequel:
Parody movie trailers are rather common online. These videos are typically made by taking existing footage of the actors from unrelated movies and then cutting them together to create a new narrative. YouTube user VJ4rawr2 explained as much in the description below this parody trailer:
This movie trailer was cut together using existing footage from the Leonardo DiCaprio movie "The Beach," as well as the movie "Revolutionary Road," which starred both DiCaprio and Kate Winslet (the two stars of Titanic). But the best illustration of how existing footage can be cut to create a new narrative comes at around the 49-second mark when two characters are shown looking at a large map. While viewers may immediately assume that the woman in this clip is Kate Winslet, it's actually actress Keira Knightley (standing next to actor Benedict Cumberbatch) in the movie "The Imitation Game."
VJ4rawr2 has created parody trailers for other popular pieces of entertainment, such as "Speed 3," a "Friends" reboot, "Monster Inc. 2: The Return of Boo," and two additional trailers for "Titanic" sequels.
This Valentine's Day has a special surprise for romantics, as Titanic is making its way back to theaters in celebration of the film's 25th anniversary. Paramount Pictures has released a 25th-anniversary trailer for Titanic, which will be screened in remastered 4K 3D high-frame rate on February 10th. Titanic boasts an all-star cast and crew, directed by James Cameron and starring Oscar winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. The love story is set on the "unsinkable" Titanic cruise ship, at the time the largest moving object ever built, which is why no one ever thought the ship would ever sink.
Released in 1997, Titanic held the record for the all-time global box office and is currently the third-highest-grossing film worldwide. Titanic won a record 11 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, Best Art Direction-Set Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Original Dramatic Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound, Best Sound Effects Editing and Best Visual Effects.
There's no denying that James Cameron is one of the most successful filmmakers of all time. He's helmed some major classics like The Terminator and Aliens, and those aren't even his movies that are included in the Top 10 highest-grossing films list. This week, Avatar: The Way of the Water became the seventh highest-grossing film of all time, and the list also includes Avatar in the number one spot and Titanic in the number three spot. Back in the day, Cameron's Oscars speech was pretty infamous and he recently talked about it being "cringe-worthy" with CNN.
