Nilia is a trandional-style 'roguelike' that gives you the chance to enter into a dangerous dungeon, either alone or in a group of two or three adventurers. That's right, unlike most titles of the genre, in Nilia you'll be able to control a maximum of three characters simultaneously, thus being able to create more elaborate strategies and synergies between the skills of each of your heroes.
The story in Nilia will begin with your hero entering the realm of the kobolds. From here you'll have to make your way to the orc dungeons, which are much more dangerous than the little kobolds. After defeating the orcs you'll have to make your way to the glacier and, finally, you'll be able to access the final fortress. It is a long and arduous path, just like in all 'roguelikes', but you'll need to persevere if you want to make it to the end.
Every day this jumping game gives you a new challenge where you have to jump between platforms and blocks with spikes and other dangers, while trying not to die along the way. To climb, you have to try to bounce off of everything you can, meaning you have to respond to your character's movements at every moment. Since you can't control where it goes, you have to make sure you jump at exactly the right time.
Diamond Rush is a 2D puzzle and platform game, in which you will have to go through caverns full of dangers, while you try to loot all the treasure you find along the way. This version of the game is a direct adaptation of the original, which was first released for mobile devices with buttons in 2006 and later for Blackberry in 2009. The main mechanics of Diamond Rush, as some of the older players may already know, is inspired by the classic Boulder Dash, a puzzle platformer game released in 1984 for Atari, in which the goal was to go into a series of dungeons to get as many diamonds as possible, avoiding all kinds of dangers, such as rocks that could crush you. In Diamond Rush players will have to face more than forty different levels, spread over three different regions: Germany, Tibet and Angkor Wat. Throughout the levels, you will have to overcome a number of different dangers, which of course will vary depending on the region in which you find yourself: snakes, spiders, fire traps, spikes, rocks, and many more. Each new level will present you with a more difficult challenge than the previous one. You will need cunning, but also a lot of skill and great speed of thought.
The dungeon is full of different kinds of traps, and while it's possible to avoid them all, it also won't be easy. You'll need to use the compression and decompression of the walls to jump and dodge some of the more dangerous obstacles. It may take you a few games to get the hang of doing this the right way at the right time.
