February UB Lawyers Guild Events

Hello everyone and welcome back!

We've got an exciting semester planned ahead and hope to see you at
our upcoming meetings and events.

On Wednesday February 13th at 5:30 p.m. in room 12 we'll be holding
our General Interest Meeting. Come meet Guild members and discuss
plans and ideas for this semester and beyond. Drinks and pizza will be
served.

This year we'll also be meeting in committees (at separate times from
our general weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.) to help
accomplish several of the events we've planned. If you can't make the
meeting on Wednesday but would like to get more information on the
Guild generally, committee meeting times or activities, please stop by
our TABLE on Tuesday, February 12th 9-3 and Wednesday, February 13th
9-3. We'll be in the first floor lobby.

On February 18th at 5:30 p.m. in 106 we''ll be screening "Mardi Gras:
Made in China." This award-winning film follows the "bead trail" from
a factory in China to Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras. There is some
incredible footage of the factory in China, not to mention some rather
humorous moments in New Orleans. We'll provide popcorn and drinks.
