Friends,

UB's Students Against Sweatshops will hold a rally Wednesday afternoon
November 14th at 1:30 in Founders Plaza in support of New Era Cap
workers who are trying to form a union in Mobile, Alabama. Supporters
are calling for an end to intimidation and discriminatory practices at
one of the nation's leading cap manufacturers.

New Era Cap is also one of the University at Buffalo's suppliers for
athletic apparel sporting the UB logo. In addition to supporting New
Era worker efforts to unionize, UBSAS is demanding that the University
join the Designated Suppliers Program - - a program designed to
protect the rights of people who sew university apparel.

Please come to the rally and show your support for New Era Cap Workers
and for UB's Designated Supplier Program.
