Hi everyone--
Based on what we decided last week, I'm going to be sending out a summary of what the focus is for each release. I think the idea of this was to have a kind of readable summary of what's going to happen and where testing needs to focus, so here goes. If this should be in another form, let me know.
Moderation workflow
We will start working on the new moderated workflow for teams. Adam is working on fleshing out the tickets now, based on the Google doc that I sent. We will not be releasing this for a while but my goal for 0.9.3 is to get the basic skeleton of it working.
Janet–I just sent you the Google Doc about this. I think it is pretty important that you and Monika go over this document.
Real search page
Search is sort of working on the live site right now at /search, but this page should get styled using our standard video list style and the search bar should get unhidden.
Tweaks to the placement / style of settings pages and creating more pages for the user
User gets a page that shows their videos and messages, and a way to navigate across their profile, messages, videos, teams, etc. They also get a dropdown menu (when they click on their username) that points to these different pages.
Front page redesign
Dmitry should take the HTML attached to ticket and make it work as a Django page–this should get tested by a human in a pretty intense way since it's the front page. Dmitry can pass this ticket to Bryan if necessary.
Fixing / extending widgetizer script
Widgetizer should work with all compatible videos, fix the IE8 problem, and JW / flowplayer compatibility should get added (with config options for flowplayer).
