Happy Mothers Day to all!
I wanted to take a moment to honor my mom!
Her name is Gay Hergert, and she is the ultimate super loving mom.
She is my biggest fan! She is my children's favorite person, and she always has a kind word to share with anyone that needs it! I am so proud of my mom! My whole life she either owned or managed restaurants. Mothers Day is one of the busiest day of the year for most restaurants. So, every year we would all go to the restaurant to see her on Mothers Day.
Well, about a month ago she was laid off, because the place she was working at had closed. My mother has worked 16 hours a day for 30 years! All of a sudden she was free! She was worried for about a day, and has been joyfully expanding every sense! This is the first Mothers Day's in 30 years that she wont be working! I am so thankful to be with her today!
Mom, your hard workin back breakin days are over, and I couldn't be happier than I am right now for you! The years following this one will be filled with family, grandchildren, and love! You are my hero, and I wrote this for you!
Mom, I KNEW
Mother, I chose you because I KNEW you would be a bright being of light to guide me through this life. From my non physical perspective, I KNEW that if I wanted love without conditions, you were the one to go to. You would be the one to show me all the beauty that this world has to offer. I KNEW you would be the one to point my talents out, and tell me to go for it. I KNEW you would teach me to trust myself, and follow my heart. I KNEW you would guide me through expansion and light, to brilliance and beauty ! I saw your heart from worlds away, and I KNEW you would stand by me, through all the mistakes that I was sure to make once I arrived here. I KNEW that I would do things to disappoint you, and you would always forgive me! I KNEW that, while I was growing, I was going to test you daily. I was going to break your stuff, say rude hurtful things, have parties when you weren’t home, and consider all of your things mine! I KNEW that you would always love me, even though occasionally, I would only think of myself.
I KNEW that you would put me first before all others, and love me more than life its self.
I KNEW that you would tell me to fly higher than the clouds! You would put me on your shoulders, and walk me through every difficult situation with so much love.
I KNEW you were so special that I would live everyday with appreciation for you, and all that you are.
Mom, it turns out that I KNEW you!
I am proud to call you mother, mentor, leader, love, wholeness, and HOME!
The gratitude that I feel for you can not be said in words or wrote on paper.
Its felt deep in my soul and given to my children everyday.
You can see my gratitude for you, in their eyes and hearts.
I knew you , Mom!
