Introductions?

I started this forum. Now there are two other members. Would it be
good to start introductions? Maybe a short form:

1. Who are you and where are you?

2. What do you thinik of the Unity08 thing?

3. Why are you on this list?

I'll go first.

My name is Jennifer. I live in San Diego, CA and grew up in the
norther SF bay area.

I think it has a lot of potential. I hope it works out somewhat like
"the Dean campaign minus Dean... and successful". I think most of it's
impact will ultimately rely on people getting organized and doing some
political *work*, possibly for the first time in their lives. I want
those people to be inclusive, civil, pragmatic centrists.

I think the only reason this movement has a chance of accomplishing
something different from any third party before it is the net, and the
ability that the net has for allowing grass roots movements to seed
themselves, organize, and grow exponentially.

> 3. Why are you on this list?

To see if I can seed a community of "inclusive, civil, pragmatic
centrists" that can "grow exponentially". This thing is a failure if
it's just me talking to myself. It only works if the right kind of
people notice it, read it, write for it, get excited, and start doing
stuff in RL.
