Meetup was good!

Hey All,

Well, the first ever meetup of the melbourne unity folks went quite
well. Had more people show up that we thought and sorta took over
half of £1000 bend for a little bit. Thanks to Seon and Alan for
getting us all together.

In the next few days (or weeks?) there will be some discussion on the
best days for a monthly meetup where there might be some talks and
generaly goings on. (something like the 3rd wednesday, or the last
thursday or somesuch) and some other events. I will let Seon and Alan
mediate that discussion.

However, one thing that we should all do on the Melbourne list is to
sign up for the Australia-wide Unity3d list. There isn't much traffic
on either list, but most of what goes on is of interest to everyone so
it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have a list for every big
city. I will start posting all of the general interest stuff that
comes across my desk to the australia list.

Also there is a new twitter account: @MelbourneUnity you should all

And there will be a website soon as well.

Also: this has nothing to do specifically with Melbourne or Australia
at all, but while I am on the subject: there is a growing facebook
group for unity devs as well:
