Thanks to everyone who came out last week for our meeting - it was a
lot of fun to see you guys, as usual.

One thing we did come up with - we're going to make our meeting
schedule a regular thing - we'll be meeting from now on on the third
Thursday of every month at 1000 Pound Bend, 5.30ish. This way, we can
make this a regular thing, instead the random mess it is now. Woo!

sorry. Zac (vote...@gmail.com) would be interested in the meetup times so if you add him to the mailing list, that'd be great.

Hey Clinton,

Sadly we haven't had a meetup in a long while, so nothing is on tomorrow.

Cheers!

What would it take for us to organize one for next month?

Basically someone just needs to organize it really.  Seon was doing it for awhile and then I organized a handful but then mostly we just got too busy.  If someone wanted to jump in and put something together that would be awesome.

Ok, I have no idea who is on here... but just a heads up...

I have just been chatting offline with Ben and we are going to arrange a Unity user get together.

Our plan is to have it on Thursday May 30th, and I am going to look into booking the back room at the Workers Club, Cnr Brunswick and Gertrude St
Fitzroy, VIC, 3065

The idea of the night will be a QA session where attendees can ask Unity specific questions on any topics and a Unity panel will field and answer the questions, plus of course, meeting new people and discussing what everyone is working on etc.

I'll post more info once we get confirmation of venue.

Please do a show of hands here if you are available.

Cheers :-)

I'm interested in attending.

Can I propose that a google calendar be set up so we can join it and be aware of dates, kind of a question as well as a suggestion ;-)

So, apologies to everyone here... I have dropped the ball again in organising a venue and getting the word out for our meet-up this week.

Once again, Ben and I have decided to postpone until next month as we are both just super swamped with work, and after the Workers Club knocked us back for space I never got around to finding an alternative venue or started getting the word out to other organisations like IGDA and GDAA to swell the ranks.

June is a massive month for us as Cubemen 2 is launching on iOS & MAS on the 6th, but I will *TRY* my best to get something organised for later in the months.

Sorry again folks :(

Hey everyone,

I'm replying to this in the hope (and assumption) that this will post on the google group as well. If not, let me know and I'll post it there.

As a follow up from the previous discussion, while we're all still trying to find time to get a group meeting in person, I wanted to follow up on the whole Q&A thing originally mentioned as a theme for the next meet. Basically, I'm going to jump the gun and ask my question online, hopefully it can get some conversation going on here as well.

For the more experienced Unity devs, what are your favourite tips and tricks for working in the editor (I guess as a coder I mean primarily editor scripting). I've been looking over some of the packages I've bought in the asset store, and a bunch of them do cool things with custom editor UI's for objects in the package, and I assume the same thing can be done in projects to streamline certain tasks. Just keen to know what cool things other devs are using.

Cheers,
