Welcome All!

I'm Dmitri, primarily an artist using 3ds Max to create game assets.
I'm loving what Unity has done for me. Within a few weeks, I've made
some game-like scenarios with characters, animations, scripts, and
basic interactions. My best work so far is a bow shooting scenario
where my character can shoot a bow, aiming it, drawing back on the bow
until it has the right strength and releasing the arrow! It's not
much, but it's pretty cool and is a beginning.

I'm interested in the possibilities of Unity including making games
that involve story telling, and as an interactive educational tool.

I am very pleased with Unity, its ease of use, ease of importing
assets, etc. My main challenges involve scripting.

I formed this group because I am interested in meeting other Unity
users and collaborating on projects. I would love to trade 3d art
assets (characters, props, buildings) for help with scripting, and I'm
always interested in paying gigs.

Hello everyone. I'm relatively new to Unity and new to 3d game
development. I've got 1 game out on the appstore right now developed
using the Garage Games iTGB game engine, called Kingdom of Gorath, but
have moved to Unity for future games for a variety of reasons. I'm
currently working with a friends company to do my first 3D Game which
will be a 3D side scroller type game.

I'm very interested in meeting other game developers and artists to
callaborate on future projects.

Hello :). I've been working as a professional software developer for the past ten years in various fields. But last year I decided to quit my job and pursue my dream of becoming an indie game designer-programmer. I'm working on my first title Wisp, a strategy game for PCs & Macs using Unity. It can get a bit lonely when working on your own and I'm new to this field. So I try to take what opportunities I have to meet new people and get out of the bat cave :)

Fernando I saw your site but did not see anything on your game. Couple of questions.
1. how long have you been working on the game?
2. What methods of distro do you have planneded
3. Who is doing the art?

Hi Donald,

I've been working on it for about six months. I'm leaving my options open on business decisions like distribution until I'm closer to release. Having said that I want to try a browser plugin only release. Right now I'm using place holder art but want to work with a professional artist in the future.
