That's the only logo I got it seems :(
I'll keep looking for the svg that was around a while ago.
I prefer the other one to be honest.
Thanks, I found a "step by step howto" for gimp fractal on a Debian
wiki and tried my hand at it :D
There ya go and thank you for the compliment.

Few things I found out from playing.
When you setup the gradient tool before doing the "flame", the flame
will pick up the colors you selected for your gradient. I favored the
"skyline" as I prefer blue dominance.
Also I tend to increase the "Brightness" in "flame" to get more texture.
It does take a long time to get a nice picture (don't forget to save
it before generating the pic so that you can go back and try
variations).
After clicking OK, nothing happens. Well actually it does (and can
take a very long time (15mins on my work lappy)). Nothing seems to
work except your processor usage goes up so be patient.
When you edit the image in the "flame" menu, you are given 9 samples.
You don't like any, click on "randomize" to generate 9 new ones. You
like one, click on it and it will put it in the center and generate 8
"variations" of the one you picked first. This allows you to fine
tune your selection. It can be hard to see, hence the "saving" part
so that you can re-open the image and generate more "variations"
