Now that you guys have a logo decision (that I quite enjoy) would anyone have any ideas for a logo for Synergy Linux. I Love the color palette that was chosen for Unity and the leaf to symbolize we're related. I just haven't decided how to tie that all in. Suggestions are appreciated.

Preferably Green instead of Blue though hey Jeremiah? (Especially since I've
spent ages greening all the icons :)

So, you're saying you want something that's got the leaf's colors, but
a unique logo representing a 'synergy' theme?

Well really I'm saying I just want something green, that people can tell has to do with Unity, or not. "Beggars can't be choosers" you're the creative genius I don't want to stifle that in anyway so if you have any ideas feel free to share.

Seeing as synergy basically means connecting and cooperating, how about either a similar (or the same) leaf to (as) Unity uses, split in half with lightning (or some reference to energy) connecting them or two leaves with the same energy connecting them?  Actually, if you do two leaves, you can curve them to be yin-yang like and still use the energy connection... would be unique and still fit close enough to Unity for people to tell (IMHO)...

Got an idea in my head, and put it to an image... Not sure if you'll
like it?

Not only do I approve, I was thinking the very same thing, but it was
late. That's freakin' eye-popping gorgeous! The yellow looks soooooo
nice against that green. I was considering coloring in the rest of the
word "Synergy" the same green, but I'm thinking that's too heavy?

Wow this is really good, thanks to both of you ;)

I'm posting these on our forum and I want to see what the users think. Granted I don't think we have a large user base, but I think people who may not be following this thread should be kept in the loop. Also I'm a little partial as I think you guys both do awesome work and it's hard for me to decide, especially when you team up. There's been no comments posted yet but it's only been last night since I put up the first post. You can follow it too if you'd like.

Thanks Jeremiah! I only strive to be as good as Gemini someday,
honestly. But thanks for the compliment...

I did it in SVG, only I made a different take on the lightning, just
to see if it was tweakable or not. I can also pretty much copy what
Gemini has done in SVG if that looks better.

I really like the change to lightning bolt. It seems too kinda connect the two together. Very nice. Love how you guys work together. I don't see either of you as being better then the other. I'm sure you both have your strengths and weaknesses, but I can't tell as you both seem to be working together really well. Thanks yet one more time ;)

Do you have an updated link? The old one I have takes me to an Apache

Yeah it seems the server it was on previously I can't remember how to access it. I have my own server now, but Richard is doing a pretty good Job so I am in no rush to get the .com address back up maybe I'm just forward it.

definitely nice and scalable... I'm impressed and definitely like it myself... may utilize it in some sort of spinoff testing for my SMG logo... very inspiring...

I know it's just me, but when I saw the first logo idea, I instantly
thought superhero.. and with the later variations I thought Green
Lantern.. =)

http://www.superherostuff.com/OtherItems/Images/green_lantern_ring_green_lantern_rings_2.jpg

Is there any chance someone can put that on a Tux wearing a flowing red
cape? hehe

Btw, on the website I think the background - or the bottom of the
background - needs to be lightened a little bit. I find the first
'y' is difficult to read, and the rest of the text might pop out better:
