Hey if anyone has some spare time on their hands it would be nice to
get some Unity Linux KDE 4 Backgrounds. It would be nice if we could
have a nice backdrop with the Unity Linux logo and supply the SVGs so
anyone with Inkscape could replace the Unity Linux Logo with their
Branches. Eventually I would like to do a few Howtos on Rebranding the
Unity KDE 4 Rpms.

Kind Regards

I've been plagued with the Winter Blues, and allowed my studio area
to become all cluttered with junk, so my motivation for doing graphics has
really dwindled.
I have not even done an install of the latest iso. It's time to get
myself out of this funk.
Mid-week, I will have the time to clear everything up, do an
install, and get back in the groove.
A lot of my time has been taken up by stupid, little things, which
are arranged at certain times of each day, that cause the entire day to
be a complete bust.
So I'm trying to gain back some control of it all, to make any
appointments to work around my schedule, so I can start getting serious
with my artwork.
I still have to get together with Gettinther to get some issues worked
out with the XaraLX build.
I remember having an issue with InkScape where it no longer loaded on
the last iso after I updated it.
And also remember that Blender was not in the repo yet.

Blender is in the repos, I am installing it as we speak...  and the only issue I have run into with xara is that it's complaining that it can't find libjpeg (6-2, I think) there was one other pogram that I usually install that gave me an error that some package was missing, but I forget what it was... will post about it once my install finishes...

The problem I noticed with the XaraLX build, was the toolbars were not
positioned right, and will not lock into place. I think there were a
couple other minor issues, but I believe the issues lay within the
source code that was used. I will need to look through it all and
compare some items to the source code of the build I have been using for
some time now.
I' will be glad to see Blender, I know someone had done a build for it
but it seemed it was not making it's way into the repo for what ever
reason, so.. thanks for taking care of that.
I wish I had the time to get back into building rpm's but, I just don't
and it would eventually become a problem. I don't want to take on
responsibility building packages that I cannot maintain.
