Remember the old "Certified works with XP" badges that are a little
bit taller than wider? Much like Jmiahman did with the original
PCLinuxOS Hardware Database badge (for those that don't remember it,
http://pcloshwdb.com/images/pclos-certified.png )

Think we could get one of those made and sent to me ASAP for inclusion
on the default index.html file for Unity Linux?

I'm picturing the Unity leaf in the middle...but instead of saying
"works with Unity" since this won't be a certification thing...how
about just Unity Linux 2010 on it?

Any takers think they can make it look as cool as the old pclos one?

once the momentum picks up, whatever flagship branch we have should recreate that certification process here at Unity... we could do it for core, but it seems like it would be more potent to be offered by a branch, since the minimalistic nature of the core wouldn't really allow for the greatest level of compatibility with hardware... or am I stepping on my own tongue here?

OK, I just did a quick one to get started. I think I need to do something different with the "It's What's Inside..." text to show it off better
Let me know what you guys think  :)

IMHO the top font is little to thin to read, but you are right it's a lot say up there. also the bright green leaf on hypnotizing alternating bright green background is busy on the eye.

I feel like the old cartoons characters in a transient hypnotic state. I will use Unity.... :D

Just wanted to let everyone know that this needs to be done before we

Gemini,
this looks nice, but in my opinion this could have problems when
printing it on a sticker. The colors are very bright and many printers
tend to make the colors more lighter than original so the result looks
like bleached. Maybe we could use darker and more contrast colors.

Second, the background has very similar colors as the leaf and for me
it blends with it so it is not easy to recognize what is on the
sticker.

Wow I like both of them (the blue and the black). I was going to say
"+1 for Paul's last logo until I saw the black one. Now I can't
decide.

I find the black more striking but I think it might be a little too
overpowering (the green/black contrast)? I guess it will really
depend on what background the logo will be applied to.

The font on the first one? You mean the color? It's the same as

differently? I'm completely open to suggestions, as always.
