Hi,

I'm trying to do the maven build of the project from scratch and I fail as well in Eclipse IDE as in Jenkins.

Before posting error messages - is there a description of the prerequisites available? Or a howto?

Google and I did not find something yet :) - so I would appreciate any hint.

Thank you in advance.

Ralf

Hi Ralf,

Thanks for your interest.
The dedicated Hudson instance https://hudson.eclipse.org/uomo/ builds UOMo perfectly well ever since it was set up to replace the old (shared) instance.

So Jenkins should not have a problem building it either. The codebase checks out and runs "master" as in http://git.eclipse.org/c/uomo/org.eclipse.uomo.git/tree/, so the Git repository got everything necessary, including extra repositories like GeoAPI.

Did you use the sources from there?

Hi Werner,

thank you for your reply.

I'll check what I did. I assume it might have something to do with settings in my Jenkins environment like the Java version or something the like.

I'll let you know.

Ralf

Hi Werner,

finally, it worked. The solution was to set the Jenkins Job configuration to use Maven 3.0.5 instead of Maven 3.2.3.

Thanks for your support.

Hi Ralf,

Thanks for the update. This could well be the default in Eclipse HIPP (it uses Hudson, which is in general very similar but not identical to Jenkins;-) instances like the one we got at UOMo.

Public Review of JSR 363 passed yesterday, so we'll soon create a new branch based on 363, probably have to wait for Orbit/IP stuff which often takes a long time at Eclipse due to limited resources ;-|

Regards,
Werner
