The attacks against community by Steve Greenfield are nothing new with the
BOE.
Any person or group that demands justice, fairness, a real ear for the
community is
branded in some negative way and trashed, isolated, ignored, mocked, etc.
It is
as if getting on the BOE subjects one to an intrinsic DNA mutation which
gets triggered
any time someone questions their (in)sanity. Having been one of those
outspoken people
over the years on unpopular issues with the school board, I can attest to
their nasty,
close-minded and bigoted ways. The only thing different now is that we
have a board
member who is so pathologically narcissistic that he thinks he can trash
people in public
with impunity. Perhaps we can use his arrogance to make some hay out of
this, get rid
of him, and demand a new and better level of human ethics and respect.
