before a deadline.

Here's today's idiom...

all that glitters is not gold
(Meaning):
appearance is sometimes misleading. Things that appear
valuable or worthwhile might not be as good as they look.
(eg):
> The house looks beautiful from the outside but the inside part of the house looks terrible; all that glitters is not gold.
> The parcel was well packed but there wasn't anything valuable in.
