Duration: 1+ year contract 
Deloitte
$50 C2C max
No H1b
Location: 100% remote - highly prefer PST time zone 

Responsibilities: 
  • Analyze business and technical requirements for Mainframe application enhancements and development initiatives
  • Coordinate solution design activities and support overall application architecture planning
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement Mainframe application code
  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Mainframe solutions
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization activities
  • Support system integrations, maintenance activities, and modernization efforts within Mainframe environments
Requirements: 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Mainframe applications
  • Advanced knowledge of Mainframe architectures and enterprise Mainframe environments
  • Must have prior state/government experience 
  • Advanced understanding of Mainframe hardware platforms
  • Strong experience with COBOL and Mainframe/Cobol Rules Mining
  • Experience supporting full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
