Hi -

Just to update everyone here, there are two actions around corporate
personhood being planned for New York City. Both are likely great
opportunities to sign up volunteers, hand out fliers, and march for
the cause.

Hope all of the New Yorkers out there can make it! If you're not in
NYC, please pass this info on to your friends.

I've attached the latest fliers for them. If you'd like to help out
with any aspect, email me and I'll plug you in.

The first is a rally in Foley Square on January 20th. We will start
in Liberty Plaza at 5pm, and then at 6pm we'll begin a lineup of
speakers that includes Russell Simmons, Chris Hedges, and Larry
Lessig.

Then, on January 21st, we will meet at City Hall Plaza at 12pm. There,
several members of the clergy from multiple faiths are holding a press
conference explaining their congregation's opposition to corporate
personhood. At 12:45pm, their congregations will join us for a march
up Broadway, during which we will stop at several corporate outlets
and perform some skits playing up the absurdities of corporate
personhood. At each stop, we'll pass out information about the crimes
those corporations have committed.
