Hi everyone!

I've been involved with Occupy Philadelphia and other organizations
over the past year. I've been speaking to people about how Campaign
Finance Reform, along with the fight to end corporate personhood, is
the FIRST problem we must focus on. Without changing the influence
money has over Congress, we cannot realistically believe that any
other wrong we wish to right will be even considered by our
representatives. People power is a necessary force, but we need
reform our government to make that force more effective in creating
positive change in America again.

It was wonderful to discover and read and reread Lawerence Lessig's
book: Republic, Lost. It is one of the most important educational
tools I've come across. It has validated a lot of what I was already
talking with people about. It also help me better articulate the
problems the influence of money on our goverment has caused, given me
a more robust solution to ending this influence, and provided
potential strategies to acheive this solution.

I've set up a Rootstriker Meetup in Philadelphia, and I'm looking to
see if there's anyone in the area with United Republic. My hope is to
coordinate with people attracted to both groups to come together and
discuss how we can initiate actions and resolutions in the tristate
area. I've also begun building connections with other organizations
and groups in the area in order to drive this, and I've got the 7
steps plan as well.

So Joseph Mornin & David Nassar, you have my permission to give my
email to anyone on your list in the PA, DE or NJ area. Hope to hear
from you. Thanks.
