Hi there,

A majority of our files are in PDF format.  Is this OK?

As for the powerpoints, they are saved in .pptx, but we will be able to back-convert these to .ppt before making the CD.

Thank you,

It has just been brought to my attention that you will be on Spring Break on April 1.  Therefore, the deadline has been extended by a week to April 8. However, if you can, please "get it together" before you leave for break and to get this item "off your plate."  My guess is that you will be sharing copies of your presentations with your groups anyway before the exam in order to help you study.  So, while you're already making copies, why not just organize with your table mates and make the complete collection for yourselves and then give a copy to us?

Sincerely,
Drs. Reidenberg and Shaw

April 1 is during spring break-- many (if not most) of us will not be around.  Would it be okay if we turned in our presentations the following week?

Subject: [Mssm2014] Histology TLC presentations on CD or DVD

Dear First Year Medical Students:
Please do not destroy all the beautiful, hard work you did on those TLC presentations!  We would like to archive them.  Please get together with your group and burn a CD or DVD with a copy of everyone's presentation from your group.  Your table group should have one presentation for each lab from #3-21 (total of 18 labs, not including labs 1 & 2, nor lab #9 Hematopoiesis).

Please title each presentation file in the following format:
the letters "TLC" followed by a dash (-),
the word "lab" and the two digit lab number followed by a dash ,
the 4 digit year followed by a dash,
the word "table" and your two digit table group number,
followed by a dot (.) and the file format code (e.g., "ppt").

For example, lab 3 from table 22 would be called: TLC-lab03-2011-table22.ppt.

Please save Powerpoint files in the 97-2004 presentation format.  If you did not use Powerpoint, please convert it to Powerpoint if possible, and if not, please let us know what software you used so we can view it.  If you gave a tour of the Virtual Histology slides in real time instead of using a Powerpoint, please copy the notes or handout that you used instead.

Please write your table number and "Histology TLC 2011" on the CD or DVD disc.  Please put your disc in a proper paper or cardboard CD/DVD sleeve or plastic case to protect it.

Please bring your disc to our secretary Mr. Torrence Wilson in Annenberg 12-90 by April 1.

Good Luck on your Histology Exam!

 Sincerely,
 Dr. Reidenberg and Dr. Shaw
