"A wonderful Experience with Fr. Vincent Bulus"

In the summer of the year 2020 during the pandemic, it became necessary to have my brother Ralph  anointed with the holy chrism oils for the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick due to his serious illness. Unfortunately, his liver disease is progressing
and becoming weaker and sicker in his body. May God's will be done in his life.

And so, according to Divine Providence i asked for a priest to come by of St. Raymond church in East Rock away New York to me and my brothers. What a delight to meet Fr. Vincent, such a warm man with a shining gleam in his eyes,  a holy, joyful priest of God from Nigeria originally who had many years of experience with sick and dying persons as a  hospice specialist as his ministry. He came to us not by accident,
but by God's design. One feels you are at the table of the Lord in his presence and Jesus is very close. When a family has a sibling slowly fading away from illness and suffering , that is when you really need a good priest.

His manner of grace and blessing and healing was such a spiritual comfort to me and my brother Ralph. My brother had  not been a church goer or received  the sacraments for years ; but his openness to Fr.Vincent was great to see. And we learned that Fr.Vincent has a passion to help his poor community and children in Nigeria in education and housing lifting them up out of their crushing poverty.

To quote my brother Ralph:  " thank Fr. Vincent for anointing me and visiting me a few times and his prayers. He is good to talk to, communicate with, very inspirational, and joyful, a joy from Nigeria."
My other brothers met him also and felt very comfortable in his presence and he has a good sense of humor.. we had a few good laughs together.
He has many gifts to offer holy mother church, the body of Christ.
Thank Almighty God for His priests !
As his 25th Anniversary of his priesthood draws near in July of 2021 may he be abundantly blessed by the Lord for the success of all his endeavors and work on earth for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven.
