I didn’t get a response from the office about my suggestion that we send out details of the programme on our email list.
It was an extremely moving – and energising – account of the horrors children and their families are facing in the aftermath of Cast Lead. Apart from children’s mental and physical traumas and the destitution of families it covered issues like the vandalisation of fishing boats, the difficulties of getting medical treatment, of rebuilding etc etc. We should recognise that it has more impact than much of our campaigning, and that we should harness such opportunities. It would encourage anyone to get involved - and also donate to the next flotilla or convoy.
