This is in regards to possession of flats in Tower # 05.

I have booked a flat in Unitech Verve around 5-6 years ago.

I have been following the development in construction since the beginning.
I visited the construction site in 2010, when the unit was almost at
completion. I had been enquiring about the possession since 3-4 years back.
Each time, without fail, I have been told that the possession letter would
be sent in 3 months. I called 2 months back, and was told that by Diwali
(which is around a month from now) I would get the possession letter. I
called yesterday, and was told that by December I will get the possession
letter.

For past 2-3 months, I have been in touch with Mr. Pushpendra Solanki,
Assistant Manager, CRM, Unitech Group. He informed me that Unitech failed to
get fire NOC from government for past 3-4 inspections and that is why the
unit is not being released for possession.

This is a high time that I get a response from you, a response that you
would hold on to. I don't want to get into the legal hassles and social /
news media escalation of the situation. I believe Ministry of Urban
Development is also taking the laxity in these matters very seriously.

It would be great if you can tell me exact date by which I would get the
possession letter? I hope to get a response from you soon in this regards.

Dear Vibhakar,

Many of us have been on the same path, either sending a mail or visiting them in various place on various occasions. The question is, "Is there any feasible or acceptable response from Unitech"?

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT.

I myself have come to realization that nothing we can do to resolve this situation and just invoking each others emotions is the only thing left here. Moreover, I personally DO NOT think any one of us neither have time, energy nor passion to execute on actions.

I am one of you guys. Booked the flat in 2006 and still waiting,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I got the possession letter for Tower 5 flat today!!!

Now, Thats just the letter. I got that a year ago but still dont have the keys to the apartment.

The letter is just to calm us down.

I also got possession letter for Tower-5. But what good?.. The flat cannot be registered. And the same amount of pestering that resulted in getting this letter, will be required now to get physical handover.

Its a standard letter of possession, I received last Tuesday. Asking me to clear all dues, and TDS. Thereafter they will issue a possession certificate, which needs to be given during physical handover, when the flat gets ready. I have been told by others who have got possession letters, that getting the keys for a complete flat is also another huge effort.

TRUE. My understanding is that they just want to collect any funds they can. I paid in full in 2007, got possession letter in 2014, cleared all the funds and dues but I have yet to see any results. They have to complete the internal work but it is at stand still.

Unless you folks have some different experience.

Hmmm. Interesting. I hope it changes after the recent court rulings and fines imposed.
