Title: TAM: Ad-hoc Tangible User Interaction
Abstract: We introduce Tangible Agile Mapping as an architecture that supports the ad-hoc definition of tangible user interfaces. By defining
objects and their associated properties, multi-dimensional interactions can be defined to provide feedback both in the physical and virtual realms. We also present an example implementation, as a means of enabling the ad-hoc definition of tangible user interfaces
by end users. An initial pilot study describing how users would ideally like to interact with such systems is described, followed by a description of the conceptual architecture. A summary of the current example implementation is then provided.
Kind regards
Kerry
