Title:

‘Information Quality Assessment using a Product Perspective'

 

Abstract:

Quality of information has many dimensions. Since information quality is context dependent, each of these dimensions is dependent upon the other. Finding the correlation between these dimensions is an intricate task. This research employs a productive perspective of information to assess and improve its quality. It utilizes analytical hierarchy process and quality function deployment to convert subjective information quality assessments into objective metrics, assesses the relationship between various information quality dimensions, and ascertain critical to quality factors. These analyses reveal deeper insights into the nature of relationship between various information quality dimensions and how they impact on the overall quality of information.
