Canwe have an "Enhanced Auto Loot" option which we can toggle. I loot everything and anything from mob kills. So, it is quite meaninglessly tedious for me to have to click to area loot from the killed mobs. Why not have all the loots auto collect into our inventory every time a mob goes down (with the "Enhanced Auto Loot" option switched on).

I know some of you do not loot everything. That is fine. You can just switch off the option. For those like me, it could be a great convenience and would smoothen our playing experience tremendously. Reducing the number of mouse clicks in a game would do wonder in giving the player a more enjoyable gaming experience.

With the option turned on it autoloots everything from ALL dead mobs in a certain radius of you in a single right click. You don't even see the loot window unless you're in a group with green and higher up for rolls. It just gets all sucked into your inventory with the credits divvied up.

If you seriously need to loot WHILE killing may I suggest you stop right clicking to attack which causes you to loot when the monster dies and keybind or click the abilities so you stop trying to loot in the middle of a fight and kill everything first so you just suck everything up in a single vacuum.

I see the various points about having this convenience, such as aiding credit farmer etc. But considering that credit farmer do not form the larger portion of player base, the overall benefit is still to the player themselves. Making life less convenient just because of a few black sheeps is not a wise move. I spent all of my gaming time here in swtor, and I kill lots of mobs in the course of game play. The number of clicks that I have to do in this game are so many that it bothers me (perhaps it would not impact those who don't play that much each day). On some days the number of clicks are so many that I feel my wrist hurting and have to take it slower.

But looking at what matters in a game: killing mob to get loot and to progress game play is what matters. Having to click to get the loot is just putting obstacle in front of seamless game play. Remove the unnecessary so that gamer have a more pleasant seamless playing experience is what I am trying to achieve through my suggestion.

(Imagine also the number of button presses to loot from mobs if swtor want to support console gamepad / joystick (in light of the recent GSF). Its easy enough to point and click to loot using a mouse, but not as easy to do so for console gamepad. Enhanced auto loot would be the way.)

honestly, I'm not a fan of this idea becasue its extremely minor "inconvenience" considering that we already loot the whole area with a single click, and I'm not sure it justifies work that would go into implementing it, when there are so many quality of life improvements that would make a much bigger difference.

its just one click, you can manage one click. (unlike Neverwinter where its individual clicks per item - using it as example since you brought it up and since its my fantasy MMO at the moment, and I've been playing it more recently than SWTOR due to winter event)

also, lets not get into a gamepad hypothetical. gamepad/joystick wouldn't work for regular gameplay anyways, as even with autoloot, you'd still need more buttons, not to mention - controls work very VERy differently between GSF and base game.

Why not just have all game characters, upon creation, instantly be sitting in their ship, with all titles, achievements, loot, gear, companions, everything completely unlocked. They can be sitting in their pilot's chair, sobbing, with a blaster in their mouth, quietly whispering "What's the point? What's the point of it all!"

Might be a good feature for the terminally lazy solo players, but it would be terribly annoying for heroic quests and other group contents. We get pop-up boxes for loot, and it's extremely annoying when they pop up during combat; boss is still not down and is killing us, and someone auto-autoloots the dead minions - annoying.

It's a decent QOL feature. You know we all pick up everything already, why do we need to stop after each battle and loot manually when it might as well just be done automatically, leaving us to do more of the fun stuff.

For garbage and creds, it certainly would be a nice feat, since it's not "one thing now and then" but every single time you kill anything. For actual loot, yeah, perhaps you should click.... I loved in Borderlands 2 they made it like this, as opposed to Borderlands 1, where you have pick up everything everytime.

Basically what the title says. The fourth ability in the "Provisions Master" section of WvW abilities isn't doing what is says it should do. "Learn to automatically pick up loot from fallen foes." This is one of my favourite abilities in WvW and one of the most useful as it means you don't have to constantly mash "F" during zerg fights but its completely useless if it doesn't work properly. Even if I stand on top of a loot bag for several seconds that I got for killing an enemy the auto loot doesn't kick in - I still have to press "F" to pick up loot.

Hi!I wonder if there is in GW2 any item or setting that allows me to auto pick my loot. Im doing Domain Of Istan farm and Im playing ranged champion, so it`s a bit annoying when I must run over and over to mobs for loot.

It doesn't work on any chest which is on the map when you enter or which appears a long way from you (I'm not sure how far exactly). Presumably so you can't do things like stand below a jumping puzzle chest, or outside the puzzle, and loot it without actually finishing.

You have to be around the middle of the lane or closer. At least for the middle lane. Might need to be closer for the other lanes. Although if you are at north lane you should be close enough since that will be right after fighting the champion unless one of the other lanes failed of course.

There is no auto loot. Autoloot would be a HORRIBLE thing. If you loot something you want and it takes up too much room and want to jettison it to make room for something you do want, there is a VERY lengthy delay between when you can jettison stuff from your cargohold (ie. you cannot do so repeatedly in a short time frame). Also, autoloot would be a dream come true for some botters.

I think the AoE loot shards is good enough, I know a lot of people have probably played GD and used the button to loot stuff that is under your character but i dont think LE will add something like that, would be nice as long as it doesnt make you auto path to items and you walk to them first with a click.

In Undecember, I am very happy to have auto-pickup of everything, because I want to pick up everything anyway for crafting materials and I have the inventory space to easily collect 100% of 2-3 maps loot before running to town (even without filters).

In Last Epoch, very, very few items are worth picking up, even for crafting purposes. Selling is pointless. The inventory is small. If I go back to town, the zone respawns. Even with a strong filter, my inventory would get cluttered super fast and I would waste more time sorting it out than if I just check the items on the ground.

Due to popular demand for an auto-loot feature and the frequent frustration whenever we update the game and thus temporarily break the mod that enables it, we have decided to make auto-looting of Components and Crafting Materials a baseline feature.

Coming up in V1.1.4.0, you will have the option of toggling on this feature in the Game Options. It will be disabled by default, as new players should still get an opportunity to read the tooltips before they are sucked into their inventory, but for veterans you will soon be able to enjoy one of the great features popularized by Grim Internals!

Zantai, hats down to you for the remarkable damage control following some controvercial patch nerfs (wink DM Cold builds, Acid Dervishes etc) - you almost make up for it with this beauty (sarcasm aside).

This is FANTASTIC!!! Just had the GI mod for a few days and love that feature. Gameplay is so much smoother since you can just run around kill instead of playing a Grocery store simulator.THANKS again!

Looter pets would be a dream feature for WoW. I loved them in Black Desert after they drastically reduced how monetized they were. Originally in BDO loot pets were very paywalled, but they added many many sources of them in game after a few years.

I do guess it is SS2 or Loot Detector that cause this issue and I will not uninstall SS2 and I did try to uninstall Loot-Detector. Both those mods alter the loot, well make them to glow and if I use the console at all stuff that is supposed to be looted, they all have the correct reference and object numbers. I did made something similar for Oblivion but I do not get CK to work as I have the GOG version. otherwise I had most likely solved this myself really. Auto-Loot do have a debug function but to see what happens if I get close to items, do not pop up in the console.

No, there is no autoloot on iRO or any other official RO (I'd argue that the requirement that you spend time to pick up loot was considered a balancing factor - certainly, with traditional leveling, your exp/hr will be 10-50% lower if you pick up all the loot manually). There is the Greed skill, which is a blacksmith quest skill - Greed costs 10sp, and picks up every item in a 5x5 square centered on you (instant cast). The Heroic Backpacks allow any class to use Greed while wearing one (as well as being generally an epicly good item).
