Allof a sudden whenever I try to print something I am getting an error message indicating that the printer is missing a file (in order to print). I have looked on the back of the printer, on the back of the ink cartridge door, on the top of the printer and I can't find the model number anywhere. The printer is a Pixma TS3300 printer, but when I tried to get to drivers and software to try to download the files, there are two Pixma TS3300 shown, and I don't know which one to go to.
Danny, thanks for the information, but I need to find the Model Number. There are two model numbers shown for the TX3300 and I need to know what model number is so that I can download the drivers/software that my printer needs to work well again.
John, thanks for your reply. Please see above. I am apparently looking in the wrong place for the driver and software download for my printer. From what I found the Pixma TS330 has two options: TS3320 and TS3322
Happy New Year. If you search for TS3320 support it shows a black printer and the driver is TS3300 series. The TS3322 model comes up as white color with same driver. Typically the last two digits designate specific model features or specific markets.
John, thanks again. I will try to download the drivers for the TS3320. Do I just download the driver and do nothing else letting the computer do what needs to be done or do I need to do anything else?
John, I tried downloading the drivers but the download seemed to freeze as the MP drivers were being downloaded. The process bar got to about one centimeter to the end and went no further. The download screen indicated that the process should have taken approximately 2 minutes but after about 20 minutes I stopped it.
In this article we will show you how to find the driver/software needed for your operating system.
Whether you have a new printer or computer, an updated operating system, or for some reason your printer and computer are no longer able to communicate, updating or reinstalling your drivers may be helpful.
To utilize all functions of your printer/scanner, the Canon software for your model may be necessary. Instructions on how to find these are below.
If you are installing your printer for the first time, have updated your computer operating system, or the printer is unable to communicate with the computer, you will need to download the recommended driver in order to print.
Choose the Download button to the right of the software or driver file you wish to download. In most cases, you will see a driver that is recommended for you. Downloading and installing the MP Drivers or Full Driver and Software Package will help you set your printer up to print and scan.
Adding a PPA supposed to contain drivers for this printer. According to various sources (including -
fr.org/tutoriel/ppa_canon), either ppa:thierry-f/fork-michael-gruz or ppa:michael-gruz/canon-trunk or ppa:michael-gruz/canon-trunk should have it, but it seems to not be the case anymore.
Finding the drivers on the various Canon websites (Europe, USA, Asia, canondrivers, etc.) On most of them, I did not find anything for Linux. On Canon Asia, I found a driver for 32-bits RPM-based Linux systems. Conversions with alien, as suggested by some tutorials have proven useless on my 64-bits system.
Printer detection fails from Canon's "TS3300 series Driver setup" running on a Windows 10 PC: I get "Could not find any printers" from the setup software and similar when I give it the printer's local IP address. This PC is connected to my (ethernet and wifi) router via ethernet cable. Our other, wifi-using, computers can see the printer (and print) fine. The printer is a wifi-connected Pixma TS-3320.
I'm not using wifi with this printer: I've set it up to connect with USB only. It still says it's ' Air Print' when describing the printer in System Preferences and no matter how I try to work it, there's no Draft print option given. Nothing's greyed out: it's simply that in 'Media & Quality' when you slide the marker to 'Draft' it simply whizzes straight back to 'Normal'. Before I junk it has anyone got a fix?
There is no effective option other than 'Air-Print' - you get a list of printers to use but the Canon TS3300 series isn't there. There's an 'other' option too but that just brings up everything that's on your computer.
I actually rang Canon and got them to send me the driver for the TS3300 series which gives you an option when installing to go for USB connection only: which I did. But, as I said the 'kind' of printer is an AirPrint and, uninstalling and trying to install it again simply leads one back to the only option . . . Air Print.
Ah, yes. The easy print and the Mac instructions both give the impression that you can chose a Draft option. But as I said although nothing is greyed out, if you try to use the draft option when you find it, the cursor simply slides right back to 'normal'. Thanks for trying though.
is NOT an official Canon Website, it is run by a blogger. I have no reason to suspect they are dispensing malware, but it is possible that you may receive something other than or in addition to the official cannon driver. -- Buyer beware
Printer Driver File, Double-click the files to decompress them. A new folder will be created in the same folder. The new folder will have the same name as the compressed file. Double-click the decompressed Setup.exe file to start installation.
If the driver listed is not the right version or operating system, search our driver archive for the correct version. Enter Canon LBP3300 into the search box above and then submit. In the results, choose the best match for your PC and operating system.

Users with Canon printers, including Canon imageRUNNER printers and copiers, can print to those devices from OS X 10.4.x Tiger. (Support for OS X previous to 10.4.x Tiger is provided by Apple and Canon but these instructions are based on a 10.4.x Tiger environment.) To create the connection, you will need to download and install drivers for your printer or copier from Canon and set up the printer using Apple's Printer Setup Utility.
Download the installer and run it; it will require all other applications to close, and then for you to restart the machine after the installation is complete. It will also ask you to authenticate at the beginning of the installation; you will need an administrator account to install these drivers. Note: For Leopard systems the instructions below are roughly accurate, but the driver is different, go here for the Leopard driver.
Some departments have enabled job accounting on their Canon printers, requiring users to supply an account number and numeric password to print. To enable job accounting, first enter the print dialog of any application. This can usually be triggered with the command-P keyboard command or by selecting "Print..." from the File menu.
Enter the account number and password in the new dialog box. (To obtain your account number and password please contact your administrative assistant or site specialist.) Click OK to save your changes.
