Me and my uncle partha banerjee mumbai is planning a 8 days trip of Sikkim with our families. So, I just want to ask what key points or thing are important for my trip? Or what are the places to visit in sikkim?
Me and my friends were went to Sikkim on 7 days trip from 1st to 7th May. We took flight from Mumbai to Bagdogra nearest airport to Gangtok only approx 125km away. So we got a flight on 1st May at 8am and we reached Bagdogra about 11am and from their we took a taxi for Gangtok and we reached their by 4-5pm, and after reaching Gangtok we were very happy as the weather of Gangtok was really very beautiful. And then we have shortlisted some places which we have to visit their so rest of the days we spent by visiting several places in Sikkim only like
Lachen,
Lachung,
Darjeelling,
Tsomgo lake,
Nathula pass,
ravangla,
namchi etc and many more and trust me they are the best place in India to visit with lots of peace.
If you are planning to go Sikkim on these coming months so dont forget to take your warm cloths as its on high altitude so the weather will be quite cold there are also chances of snow if you are planning it on December. And yes do take your Camera with you because you are going to the most beautiful place in INDIA. So go ahead enjoy your trip as their are many places to go.
All the best for your trip.
Yes If you are willing to go to Sikkim for 8 days then its good to visit inn December only because at time The chances to watch or experience snowfall will increase. Actually i visited there in the month of June so it was not that much good as i expected . So its better to go in December.
Well PArtha Banerjee it's not good to travel due COVID 19 Virus. So I suggest you to postpone your trip for atleast 2 months. And yes Sikkim is a beautiful place to travel in Northeast India. In yout 8 days journey try to cover both north Sikkim & South Sikkim.
Hi Partha Banerjee Sikkim is really a nice place to visit with your family. But having a Lockdown conditions these day's in India due to Covid-19 Virus you should postpone your journey till July or August 2020, until everything is not sort out.
