The
most common method of entry to homes has been torn screens and entry
through windows – many times these were located in the kitchens. Please always lock windows and doors even if you are only
leaving their home for a short period. The preventive measures you
take may help to prevent from becoming a victim of burglary! Also, please call 911 if you see anyone that appears suspicious or any
unusual behavior day or night. Saint Paul Police Western District
officers want, need, and appreciate the help of the community. PLEASE pass this on to your contacts, friends, and neighbors!
Business Owners - please be on the alert, too
PLEASE keep you eyes open and alarms on when you aren't in the shop! Play It Again Sports at Snelling and Hague had an attempted burglary this morning at 5am - Adam Hunkins, owner, put out the word that the front door was pried open and kicked in, and their alarm went off. Luckily nothing was stolen or vandalized except the broken door most likely because of the alarm going off.
