Good Afternoon,

 

The most recent Crime Notification Report (July 19-25, 2012) for the Union Park District Council is attached.

 

UPDC Residents:  A message about burglaries from the SPPD:

The Western District has had 16 burglaries in the past 7 days. Please reference the grid map provided here to see which grid you live in.   From the date 7/20/2012 through 7/26/2012, the following burglaries have occurred in grid order;

 

Grid 48 - 1 no forced entry day residence

Grid 61 - 1 no forced entry night garage

Grid 85 - 1 forced entry day residence

Grid 86 - 1 forced entry night residence

              1 forced entry day residence

Grid 87 - 1 no forced entry night garage

Grid 102 - 1 no forced entry night garage

Grid 123 - 1 forced entry night garage

Grid 126 - 1 attempted forced entry night residence

Grid 127 - 1 no forced entry night residence

Grid 128 - 1 no forced entry day garage

                1 forced entry day residence

                1 no forced entry night garage

Grid 145 - 1 no forced entry night garage

Grid 163 - 1 no forced entry night garage

Grid 186 - 1 no forced entry night residence occupied

 

68% of the week total burglaries occurred at night and 8 of those 11 were no forced entry.  Please remember that locking your doors and windows at your home and garage may help prevent burglaries.

 

If you see a suspicious person(s) or activity in your neighborhood, always call 911 immediately so police can investigate!  Saint Paul Police need, want, and appreciate your calls and help.  Do for your neighbors as you would want them to do for you.


National Night Out 2012

Have you submitted your registration form to the City and requested your permit to clock of the street, or a visit from police and fire? Make sure you get everything in to the SPPD as soon as possible - and don't forget that requests are due by 7/31.


Don't want a visit from police? Still submit your registration so we know how many parties the City of Saint Paul has in 2012!
