Compared to last week’s total of 17 cases, a total of 47 crimes between March 21-27 stands out. Theft remains the biggest problem (15 last week compared to 28). Burglaries also shot up from 0 to 9.

Police can use these statistics to make predications, which they can share with us. In general, there is the standard advice, such as keeping valuables out of sight, locking doors and windows, and using motion activated lighting.

Western District Police Community Meetings

The St. Paul Police Department invites community members to participate in monthly discussions about crime and crime prevention in our neighborhoods.

When: Monthly on 3rd Tuesdays at 9:30am and 6:30pm.
