Union Park has been working on developing a Restorative Justice Program in partnership with the Saint Paul City Attorneys Office, Dispute Resolution Center, and WSNAC (West Summit Neighborhood Advisory Committee). Students who are referred to the program by the City Attorneys Office must participate in a community circle to learn the implications of their actions, as well as complete at least 16 hours of community service at local service agencies (like the Merriam Park Block Nurse Program). Please consider attending the info sessions to learn more about how you can get involved and help this program.
The Union Park District Council's Neighborhood Issues Committee (NIC) meets once per month to discuss issues related to Crime and Safety, Traffic Calming and Pedestrian Issues, and Neighborhood Communication and Outreach. All NIC meetings are open to the public and the committee welcomes community participation. The next NIC meeting will be on Monday, October 8th from 6:30-8pm. For more information, please contact the Union Park office at (651)645-6887 or by email at in...@unionparkdc.org
