Hello,
As Annie takes on more responsibilities as Union Park District Council's Interim Executive Director, I will be sending the safety reports to the group. Thanks for your patience as I learn how this goes.
Annie mentioned that there was some interest in seeing crime reports plotted on a map, so I put something together. You can
view a map, which goes along with the attached report, under "News" on our new website here:
Please note that the website is still under development. Nevertheless, we thought we'd give you a preview.
In related news, we would like to get a handle on what block clubs are out there in the neighborhood. If you are an active block club leader or if you would like to know more about starting a club, I'd like to hear from you. What have been some successful crime prevention strategies that your block club has used? Let us know.
Have a good weekend!
