to Crime Notification
Good Afternoon,

The most recent Crime Notification Reports (May 24-30 and May 31 - June 6, 2012) for the Union Park District Council are attached.

UPDC Residents:  Burglaries are still up in the neighborhood - here's what one block is doing about it!

Neighbors in the Roblyn/Carroll area between Cretin and Marshall are fighting crime a new way - by getting on the computer.  Neighbors started communicating to each other over email what was happening in the neighborhood - to let everyone know what was going on and to call out suspicious things - like when people go door-to-door "selling" things, but are really just canvassing the neighborhood. It's easy to do, and a quick and easy way to keep track of everyone's emails (it sends automatically to everyone in the group). Do you use Google Groups for another group? Why not your neighbors?

What do you do: go to Google Groups through your g-mail account (or any other group function through an email provider) and create your group - give it a name and send the invitation to join to your neighbors! Don't have your neighbor's email addresses? Have a block party this summer or collect them at National Night Out! Need help organizing a party - let me know! an...@unionparkdc.org
