Steve Bloom killed by a hit and run driver

It saddens me to report that Steve Bloom, organizer of the North Oakland go club, died a few weeks ago after being hit by a car while biking home from the Sunday Go club. I've played go at Steve's club for many years and miss him greatly.

There will be a memorial/protest next Thursday at the site of the incident.
