I cannot install or update my logitech wireless/bluetooth device I now have error code 28 driver unknown. Saw in the forum to run this file and upload to here . I even have a very annoying beep because of this. I have tried all the standard stuff. uninstalling on device driver look for new item etc. nothing works or helps.
I performed an customary procedure's. I own Iobit software . Driver booster, advance system care ultimate. iobit malware fighter iobit uninstaller Smart defrag all latest editions. I did not have an issue until I ran driver updater and it came back with the error 28 no driver device code. And for the record the beep my computer gives out on it is annoyingly.
I had rolled back my computer to a few days earlier since a windows update failed and well I could not start my computer. Rolled it back. Ran my Iobit software to update all my drivers. AS that is usually the first thing trouble shooters always tell me to do. So I ran my Iobit System care Ultimate. and then ran driver booster. and the windows system repair tools. All that stuff. It updated several drivers said it could not update 2. both Logitech drivers error code 28 . I did the uninstall the driver run the scan for new hardware. Before I can run that the Logitech driver not installed pops up. like with in seconds. So I ran search on the internet to see what I should try next. This forum at Logitech ( I was looking for Logitech support to see if they had something about it. ) So I looked on here. I see lots of folks have this issue. FyI my Logitech m-r0065 is using the unified receiver not the Bluetooth. even thou the Logitech app says Bluetooth.. I ran the windows troubleshooters that i could find. No I have not rolled it back again. and now i ha ve not read the user manual for driver booster. When I saw so many others with same issue. I realized it probably is not my computer per say. so looking for information. and the service techs I speak with understand that means I have run all the normal troubleshooter stuff. At the age of 64 and using computers since windows 98 I have done a lot of troubleshooting over the years and spoke with a lot of service techs.
There is error code 28 with Logitech Cordless Device. Is Logitech device unable to connect to the computer? What series/model is the Logitech device? Please speciufy it so that we can look for corresponding driver for you.
mr-0065 mouse. Newest versions of Logitech plus. I do not know if no driver before the windows failed update. when I rolled back my computer and ran the driver updater I found the error code 28 on Logitech unifying receiver. Receiver seems to work, Mouse had no issues. I discovered that I had to have the unifier plugged in because otherwise I have no mouse Logitech program does not show any unifier. shows Bluetooth.
This is the windows failed update 2023-11 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5032288). So not really sure where my problem actually is. I had to roll back computer to boot up. now failed update tries a few times then sorry can't update. I cannot update the missing Logitech driver. ran all t he usual update stuff. ( how I found this issue) Found online a potential diagnostic fix by running a "clean boot" I do not feel safe stopping alot of windows then doing things and . If I cannot find a solution, I will ask my son. A computer tech. makes good money, I just hate asking him first because well he doesn't charge me. ( i couldn't've afford his cost lol). I don't kike taking advantage. So I look online and try to find a solution myself. ( been on computer since windows 98 had HP's for a longtime trust me talked to alot of techs and have basic troubleshooting steps memorized.)
I am attempting to install manually "Logitech G Hub" app on Autopilot computers win11, but it's failing consistently. I've tried on computers without success. Despite running as admin and through user account, the only error message i receive is the screenshot attached. Interestingly, it installs fine on non-autopilot computers.win 10 machine . Could Windows Defender be the culprit. I could not see any error in event log.
I tried adding to allow to Windows Firewall & Defender and whitelisting the path, but it still isn't installing. I m not sure it is something with autopilot setting or Policy blocking this app installation. If it is happen due to this please suggest what policy or setting is causing this error. Would request if you can test and try to install this app on win11 autopilot machine or not non-autopilot.Please help me to rectify the problem . Thank you

There are multiple reasons for improper functioning of Logitech G Hub software on your computer. A common reason can be the inability of the Windows OS to determine whether this program needs to be started or not. This happens when Windows thinks that this program is already running, but you think Logitech G Hub installation has failed. In some cases, Windows Firewall blocks this software from running.
Microsoft Visual C++ is necessary modual to make start Logitech G hub software on a computer. So make sure it is installed on your computer. If it is already installed, then you should try to reinstall it again.
If you think your Logitech G Hub software is installed properly, but is not loading at start-up, then maybe Windows thinks that the program is already running. Solve this problem by following the steps given below.
Sometimes Windows Defender Firewall blocks Logitech G Hub from running on your computer. Therefore, you will have to manually allow this program in Windows Firewall. The steps for doing this are given below.
Try to change de wifi connection, try the 2.4 ghz. I tried all the steps above, no one works for me. I changed the wifi and installed the app.
First I was in a mesh wifi, then I change to a 2.4 ghz.
Tried above, no luck (Failed to initialize error). I had to shut down as many SYS TRAY items as I could. Also copied install from network drive to local physical drive (c:). Not sure which of above fixed it, but it finally installed.
hello, i had the same problem, I did the steps here, I downloaded the microsoft visual (which i dont think was actually needed, and i ran the old version of ghub which worked fine. I also had to delete previous files of ghub and worked like a charm. thanks so much for the help
I have found that if you have an internal SATA storage adapter installed (PCIE), it will cause the pc to lock up when installing this. I removed the side panel and disconnected the SATA cables from the adapter and it installed fine. After installation, I reconnected the SATA cables and the app works. I found this fix on another site a few years ago. I wish they would fix the app.

To make matters worse, both uninstalling and a failed installation do not clean up all of the G Hub files on disk, so you will have junk hanging around from previous installations that can trip up a new install.
Not too long ago I shopped around for a wireless headset which had surround surround support, and eventually settled on the Logitech G930 Headset. While the hardware is excellent, and the sound is...

I read somewhere that there needs to be a webcam.txt file in >machine>config files. I created one, but everything in it is commented out. So far, all i have is a blank white screen in the webcam part of the dashboard.
Also, the mainsail documentation metions "webcamd" several times. In one instance, it instructs to go the the top right corner of the mainsail UI, click the power button and restart "webcamd". There no "webcamd" under than button. What is webcamd, and where can I find it?
When that didnt work, i went back and scrolled through all the text in putty from the crowsnest install, and it appears that there are alot of dependencies that failed to install. Possibly due to the program not being designed for debian.
You don't need crowsnest, as far as I can tell. I have a singular Camera on my V0 and I've no crows nest. Well actually technically I have two cameras as I was mucking about with my set up when I was trying looking at Stadi's multi-camera issue.
line in the file as I am using the raspberry PI camera, but if it was a USB camera changing the line to camera="usb" should work. Having said that the default is "auto" so it should figure out for itself.
