Hi Team,

What is so far has been configured?

1. I was able successfully install and configure MRCPv2 server and client on Raspberry pi 3 B+ model.
2. Was able to test by running run rec, run recog, run verify, etc commands from mrcpclient console.
3. was able to setup second raspberry pi and configured only as a mrcpclient and was able to communicate with mrcpserver on first rapsberry pi.
4. so I have now one mrcpserver and two mrcpclient configured and can successfully communicate.

Next?
What am trying to do is:
    1. I want to be able to stream live audio directly from microphone attached to mrcpserver.
    2. send same audio input to mrcpclient over RTSP or RTP where the application runs
    3. mrcpclient does processing and will respond back to mrcpserver.
    4. mrcpserver will need to forward that to a speaker so I should be able to hear.

Is MRCP support live audio stream from microphone, or does it require any plugin to be installed? How people have done this in the past?

Any documentations, link will be appreciated to solve this problem.

Thank you all!

Hi Kanat,

Please do not post the same set of questions to multiple places. It makes harder to provide you a coherent response. My comments below

The MRCP server should not be aware what your audio source is. It is up to the MRCP client to capture audio and send it to the server for recognition/verification via RTP.

    2. send same audio input to mrcpclient over RTSP or RTP where the application runs

Again, this should be vice versa.

    3. mrcpclient does processing and will respond back to mrcpserver.

The same here.

    4. mrcpserver will need to forward that to a speaker so I should be able to hear.

It would be up to your client application to play a prompt to the caller.
