According to freeswitch.org, the module supporting unimrpc has been removed from the main tree:
"As of 2022.08.29 mod_unimrcp was removed from FreeSWITCH tree and placed in https://github.com/freeswitch/mod_unimrcp"

It seems that from Freeswitch 1.10.8, mod_unimrcp is not longer available from signal wire's debian repo.

Does anyone know why the module was removed?
Is our only option to compile it ourselves from now on?

HI.Currently i am using  latest freeswitch and mod_unimrcp persists. You can register on signalwire.com and list repositories with your credentials.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
My issue is that like in the centos repo you've shown, there is no 1.10.8 release for the unimrcp module, like there is one for pocketsphinx and tts-commandline.
I don't know if mod unimrcp 1.10.7 will work with FS 1.10.8 when manually installed, but installing with apt shows a conflict between mod unimrcp 1.10.7 and freeswitch 1.10.8.
From you screenshot I conclude that there is no 1.10.8 release for CentOS either.

Yes. There is no release but it latest package release repo. In my case it works without conflict. Thanks
