ASAPP SR Plugin 1.0.0 Released

ASAPP Speech Recognition (SR) Plugin 1.0.0 to the UniMRCP Server (UMS) has been released.

The plugin is based on the following components:

  • ASAPP WebSocket API
  • Libevent 2.1.9
  • Rapidjson 1.1.0

The plugin is available for the following UMS versions:

  • 1.7.0
  • 1.8.0

The binaries are currently available for the following Linux distributions:

  • Red Hat / CentOS 7
    • unimrcp-asapp-sr-1.7.0-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
    • unimrcp-asapp-sr-1.8.0-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
  • Red Hat / CentOS 8
    • unimrcp-asapp-sr-1.7.0-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
    • unimrcp-asapp-sr-1.8.0-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
  • Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
    • unimrcp-asapp-sr_1.7.0-focal_amd64.deb
    • unimrcp-asapp-sr_1.8.0-focal_amd64.deb
  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
    • unimrcp-asapp-sr_1.7.0-jammy_amd64.deb

IVR platforms can now utilize ASAPP Speech-to-Text API via UniMRCP Server.

The new plugin supports streaming speech transcription using the WebSocket interface of the ASAPP Speech-to-Text API.

Please note this is a commercial module. Everyone is welcome to start evaluation by requesting a trial license.
