AWS Transcribe Plugin 1.11.0 Released

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Transcribe Speech Recognition Plugin 1.11.0 to the UniMRCP Server (UMS) has been released.

The plugin is based on the following components:

• AWS SDK 1.11.804
• Libevent 2.1.9

The plugin is available for the following UMS versions:

• 1.7.0
• 1.8.0

The binaries are currently available for the following Linux distributions:

This release sets the Waveform-URI header field on the RECOGNITION-COMPLETE event even when recognition completes with no-input timeout. The release is built against a newer version of AWS SDK.

The detailed list of changes introduced in this release follows.

New Features

• Allow to explicitly specify whether IMDS calls should be enabled or not. Disabled by default.

Fixed Problems

• Set the Waveform-URI header field on the RECOGNITION-COMPLETE event even when recognition completes with no-input timeout.

Configuration Parameters

• Added a new attribute 'imds' to the element 'umstranscribe'.

Miscellaneous

• Updated the Usage Guide to reflect the changes introduced in this release.
• Upgraded the AWS SDK from 1.11.469 to 1.11.804 version.
