Hi all,

I have a problem in Asterisk when the MRCP server crashes in the midle of a MRCP session. If the server goes down, the channel in asterisk continues forever and is impossible to hangup, so is possible asterisk get a number of channels stuck and this is produce asterisk fails.

I try with set absolute timeout for the calls, hangup request, but nothing works. Anyone can help me with this?

Hi,, the log doesn't report enythin, I can see only next when I execute a core show channels verbose:

all the stuck channels are frozen for more than several hours and any hangup request or channel request hangup or channel redirect to a context with only hangup application works.

Any idea?

regards,

Sergio

Hey Sergio,

What version of asterisk and plugins are you using thanks.
With asterisk can you set core set verbose 10 from the CLI and also maybe logger.conf to set log level higher to capture the verbose logs.

I'm using asterisk 20.10 with unimrcp plugin 1.10. If I use MRCPRecog or MRCPSYnth I have no problem when the unimrcp server goes down during the session. It seems to be related with the SynthAndRecog application. It is so extrange.

Sergio

you can refer to this to find how to see more logs
start asterisk with     asterisk -vvvgc  command
set higher core verbose level   core set verbose 7
check the logs and share
